Europeans have always been really proud about their outstanding and deeply rooted beer traditions, but the United States are picking up the pace, and they are doing it remarkably well.
Just about 20 years ago, America wasn’t exactly the place to go for great craft beer, but today, the United States offer many a great destination for those who love a good brew.

If you are planning to travel to the US of A, here are a few recommended destinations for all craft beer fanatics out there.

Brooklyn, New York

One of the 5 boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn is known for its incredibly hip settings. This is where you will find great art, culture, food and drinks. In particular, there are many awesome local independent breweries  and craft beer bars with great products and amazing beer lists. We recommend you some of them, in the Brooklyn borough and in Manhattan:

Portland, Oregon

In the USA and in the rest of the world, Portland has acquired a near-legendary status for its bursting craft beer and micro-brewing culture. The city is home to a wide variety of manufacturers with very distinctive and unique approaches. We suggest you:

This city might not be the mecca of US craft beer yet, but it surely is a growing and happening destination. Located in the state of North Carolina, this is an increasingly hip city with a lively cultural scene, great restaurants and award-winning breweries that are getting lots of attention nationwide.
